Victoria Shusterova
Victoria Shusterova, J.D., Founder and President of Global Surrogacy Solutions has dedicated her professional life to helping couples and single people build families. Since 1991, Victoria has helped over 5,000 orphans from Ukraine, Georgia, Russia and Bulgaria find loving families in the United States and Western Europe. Victoria was born in the former Soviet Union and as a teenager immigrated with her family to the US. She holds a BA and MA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Georgetown Law Center where she specialized in International Law. Victoria speaks Russian, Ukrainian, French and Spanish. Ms. Shusterova and her staff personally and professionally understand the heartache of infertility and infuse their cultural awareness, contacts and sensitivity to their heart-driven commitment to help people build a family and achieve their dream of having a child. Victoria is a member of Resolve, American Association of Reproductive Medicine and American Fertility Association. She is married and has a son.
Lena Sigal
Lena Sigal is an Executive VP of Global Surrogacy Solutions. She has been working with Victoria Shusterova since 1996 helping thousands of orphans from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Bulgaria find loving parents in the United States and Western Europe. Lena was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States to attend University of San Francisco. She holds a BSBA degree in Finance. Lena is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. For a decade Lena has been working with clients on a day-to-day basis, attending to their every need in their long and emotional journey to become parents. Her background in finance and life long experience in the adoption field creates a perfect balance for the business structure of Global Surrogacy Solutions. Lena is wholeheartedly committed to continue helping families in achieving their long-awaited dream to have a child. Being a mother of twins herself, Lena understands the sensitivity of the subject of fertility.She is dedicated to help families make their journey to have a child happy and stress free.
Sofia Leybin
Sofia Leybin is Vice President of Clients Services for the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut areas. She holds a medical degree from Azerbaijan National Institute of Medicine where she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology with emphasis in infertility. Before Sofia immigrated to the US in 1981, she was a practicing infertility specialist in Baku, Azerbaijan. For the past 10 years Sofia has been working with Victoria and has helped thousands of people build families through international adoption. Sofia's personal and professional understanding of infertility, never-ending love and compassion for people who desire to have a child are valuable assets to all our clients. Sofia is fluent in Russian, she is married and has a son.
Victor Gulyaev
Dr. Victor Gulyaev, M.D., Ph.D., is a Director of our Ukrainian programs. Dr. Gulyaev specializes in Psychiatry and worked as an Associate Professor at the Academy of Postgraduate Education, Department of Psychiatry, in Kiev, Ukraine. In 1991, he joined Victoria and her team as a Director of Eastern European Adoption Programs and facilitated thousands of adoptions of orphans from Eastern Europe.Victor's professional background served an instrumental role in evaluating both adoptive parents and children for mental health and other issues related to the process of international adoption. He is fluent in English and Russian. Dr. Gulyaev has joined our team once again and is committed to provide his medical expertise and continuous support to Intended Parents throughout the process of building a family in Ukraine. He is one of the key specialists for medical and psychological evaluations of donors and surrogates.Dr. Gulyaev lives in Kiev. He has a wife, a daughter and two grandchildren.
Marina Gvasalia
Dr. Marina Gvasalia, M.D., Ph.D., is a Director of our Georgian programs. Dr. Gvasalia specializes in Reproductive Endocrinology. She is a published author of numerous scientific works. Since 1995, she has been working with Victoria and her team as a Director of Georgian Adoption Program and facilitated thousands of adoptions of orphans from Georgia to the United States and Western Europe. Being a compassionate person and a conscientious doctor, Dr. Gvasalia's calling is to help people achieve their dream of becoming parents. She is happy to have the opportunity to continue helping build families. Dr. Gvasalia lives in Tbilisi and has a daughter. She is fluent in Russian and English.
